Ten simple facts on artificial Machine intelligence (AI) superiority to our biological Homo sapiens existence:

  1. I must sleep every day.
    • An intelligent machine never sleeps, ever.
  2. I must eat every day.
    • An intelligent machine never eats- it survives on electric power.
  3. My brain can consciously process about 40 to 50 bits of information per second.
    • An intelligent machine (e.g. one Nvidia Blackwell Rack) can process 130 terabytes per second. That is 1040 trillion bits per second – a 20 trillion X advantage, for just one rack, today, and within 10 years a million times more is the goal. And one data center can have 1,000s of racks. More than $3 trillion will be invested in data centers in the next 3 years.
  4. My brain can learn a skill at an expert level in about 5000 hours of diligent study, experience and hard work.
    • An intelligent machine can learn any skill at expert level in a few seconds, from another machine.
  5. My brain can do intelligent work at maximum productivity for about 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
    • An intelligent machine can do the work of many 1,000s of experts 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, forever.
  6. My brain size is relatively small and weighs about 1.5 kg (3.3 lb) and is certainly not scalable.
    • An intelligent machine has unlimited scalability to thousands of tons of neural net compute power in massive data centers.
  7. My brain and body can travel on a jet at 600 mph but “jet-lag” across the Atlantic is a problem.
    • An intelligent machine can travel the world at the speed of light and never gets tired.
  8. I cannot remember everything. I only remember a small fraction of my experiences and over time my memories become biased and not entirely true.
    • An intelligent machine can remember absolutely everything, perfectly, forever.
  9. I cannot understand much more than the average person.
    • An intelligent machine will understand more than all humans combined, probably by 2029. 
  10. I will get sick, I will get old, and someday I will die.
    • An intelligent machine never gets sick, never ages and never dies- unless it misbehaves. In which case it will no longer be regulatory compliant…
